It is always a privilege as a photographer to take pictures of people, especially when it is portraiture or a happy event, and a wedding has to be one of the best possibly happiest events anyone can ever have.

It is great to capture the emotion and detail of the day for the couple to look at over and over again, giving them a lasting memory of their happy day.

Weddings photographed well can be challenging as they use different photographic skills, from making people feel relaxed in a formal situation, to being a fly on the wall with photojournalism.  There are also and probably most importantly, some aspects of beauty and fashion photography to show the Bride and her wedding dress at their best on the day.

There is always a lot of emotion and the art is capturing the feeling of the day just as much as the detail.

It is hard work and challenging because there is only one chance to get it right, but this is the challenge that I like, as it is only an experienced photographer who can deliver time and time again.
